Mercury Messenger Service est un logiciel de messagerie instantanée permettant de converser sur MSN.

Passage à la version 1.8 [En] :

• Universal Binary
• Offline Instant Message sending/receiving
• Full and easier blocking of Nudges and Winks for people who don't like them
• Improved webcam sending/receiving
• Improved filetransfer direct connect handling
• New contact list component, rendering should go faster, views can 'do' more
• Unread message count in title of chat windows
• Display picture cropping like MSN has
• When a contact updates his/her display picture, the new picture will 'blend' into the old one.
• Participant list in a group conversation
• Sending keepalive messages, the chat connection will not timeout. As long as you keep the conversation open, you will always know when the contact closes it.
• Some small but required UI improvements
• Checking if a animated gif is 'broken' before showing it (broken gifs have no timeout between frames, cause 100% cpu)
• A lot of other bug fixes...
